Mission and Values
Through a framework and a platform built on organizational and operational excellence, senior vice president and chief business officer enterprise, will provide best-in-class, effective and efficient financial, facilities, business, administrative, information technology, safety and security, and human resources services to support the academic, research, and engagement missions of the university. We will provide these services in a healthy work environment that is physically accessible, safe and secure. We will promote a campus climate that provides for the equitable treatment of students, staff, faculty and all campus partners and visitors.
Consistent with Virginia Tech’s Beyond Boundaries vision for programmatic and transdisciplinary collaboration, we will work collaboratively within Operations and Administration across functional areas and across all university divisions and offices.
We will carry out our mission in an environment that promotes respect for individuals and the institution, demonstrates integrity through ethical behavior, and that provides accountability, responsiveness, and transparency to our campus partners and colleagues.
We will acknowledge areas where we are best in class and continue to identify opportunities to improve.
